Patriot Academy Begins their RV-12

The Patriot Academy is in the early beginnings of their first RV-12 Eagle’s Nest Project, Eagle’s Nest Two.

The parts are inventoried for the empennage, and the small parts are stored away in the new storage system. It appears the system will work very well, and the few bugs will be easy to correct.

While the students are still in training, some hands-on building will begin next week. Here, students are getting practice putting some of the parts together with “Clecos,” the universal temporary fasteners. A student Project Manager and Parts Manager have each been chosen. Supervision and mentoring is by Patriot Academy staff. Here, a Captain looks on. An Eagle’s Nest Director and the student Project Manager from the JCHS Eagle’s Nest One project will observe once each week.
